Our Team

A mechanical engineering graduate of Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, André started his career at IBM, and accumulated an international working experience in three different countries. Working for other electronics manufacturing companies, including Universal Instruments, prior to co-creating Cogiscan, André has acquired an effective combination of process knowledge, equipment experience and market understanding both from a supplier and user standpoint. As CIO, he is focused on finding and implementing innovative solutions to real life manufacturing problems. When André isn’t guiding his team to software development greatness, he can be found hiking on a mountain or spending time lounging lakeside.

A computer sciences graduate from Sherbrooke University, Benoit started his career at IBM developing inventory management tracking software for microelectronics assembly. Naturally drawn to the tracking portion of Cogiscan’s track, trace & control mission, Benoit joined in 2002 originally as Software Development Manager. Driven by Agile Software Development principles from day one, the system architecture that Benoit helped design and build over 20 years ago is still the infrastructure of Cogiscan’s system today. As the Senior Director of Technology, Benoit works with Marie-Andrée and her team, while further developing Cogiscan's technological vision. You’ll often find Benoit hiking along the trails with his family… with his beloved dog tracking closely behind.

A mechanical engineering graduate of McGill University in Montreal, François started his career at IBM, and worked for other electronics manufacturing companies, including Universal Instruments, prior to co-creating Cogiscan.

When François isn’t helping clients achieve their smart factory goals, he can be found cycling or running on the trails close to his home and Cogiscan’s headquarters.

A mechanical engineering graduate from Laval University, Martin started his career in electronics manufacturing as a student intern back in 1998. He eventually made his way to Cogiscan in 2005 as one of our earliest employees. With his background working in an SMT factory, Martin deeply understands the client’s perspective and because of this connection fully commits himself and his team to offer a client-first support experience. An outdoors enthusiast, you’ll always find Martin enjoying the outdoors with his three children as often as possible.

Prior to co-founding Cogiscan, Vincent held various positions at IBM in Bromont. With a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from École Polytechnique, a master’s degree in engineering from McGill University, and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke, Vincent’s expertise is sought out frequently and he participates in several boards of directors as well as advisory boards. When Vincent is not collaborating with clients and partners, he can be found biking or skiing on the trails in the beautiful Bromont area.

In 2005, during her last year as a student in Electrical Engineering at Sherbrooke University, Marie-Andrée did an internship at Cogiscan, and she has been part of the team ever since. Over the years, she has worked in several departments and greatly contributed to the improvement of our internal processes. Managing various large-scale clients and partner projects, she demonstrated her analytical and synthesis skills. She now acts as a coach to guide each software development team member through their career path by facilitating collaboration and ensuring that everyone has the right tools to do their job effectively. Marie-Andrée loves to be part of a team; you might run into her at your local arena cheering on her kids or on the DEK hockey surface chasing the ball.
